Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from the mixed race family of South London in England. She has a mother who is English while her father is Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where she gained an BA in acting. While attending the school was when she performed in various stage plays, including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe launched her acting career in the film Storm Damage. She's appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's film debut was in Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. After that, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx as well as Flipside playing Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast in the US on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she was a guest in the very first episode of season 3. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 to the year 2016. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. The two have collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl in the past, and Goldberg was also on the show with Madekwe in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her parents, Roy and Patty along with the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's four brothers, each of them extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in love. Ashley became passionate about dance after this. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and more. Ashley was awarded the top soloist award at every major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just some.
